When I first met Amy through Center Sphere she remarked, “it’s not about figuring it out, it’s about clearing it out.” I found that statement to be foreign and intriguing, but it wasn’t until my first bars session with her months later that I felt that statement’s power and truth.
Before the session I had with me abundant and painful baggage from the life I’d lived. I had put forth grand attempts to “figure out” how to evolve and heal/free myself from some my experiences to no relief. Amy taught me that I could set the baggage down and release it. She also showed me that not all of my stress, thoughts, and worries belonged to me and that I could simply give it back to its originator. Powerful stuff.
